Over the past few years, most conversations about AI have revolved around one, deceptively simple question: Which model is best?

But the next question was always, better than what?

The best of the imagination? Do you write? Coding? Or maybe it's the best for pictures, audio, or video?

That framework made sense when the technology was new and uneven. When the gaps between the models were obvious, consultation measures felt productive and almost necessary. Choosing the right model can significantly change what you can or cannot achieve.

We're moving away from thinking about which model is best and toward designing a workflow that's quieter, cheaper, and sustainable over time.
