Transforming Nordic classrooms with reliable AI collaboration

It saves teachers time while we build AI writing experience in Sweden
By partnering with school districts across Sweden to bring Gemini Education to nearly 30,000 students and faculty members, schools are embracing the power of AI to transform learning. Teachers use Gemini to create high-quality, highly customized materials – one Shift teacher describes as “transformational” because it allows them to invest more time with their students. According to Johan Kellén, a teacher and coordinator of Linköping, it takes a long time to produce good teaching materials – you often have to create them yourself and make sure that they are up to date, and adapted to each class. This is where Gemini can help.
Districts held workshops to empower teachers to use Gemini and discussion with older students about using a guided learning mode like AID Study. They believe in AI learning is a shared task.
Leading the charge for safe, secure digital learning in Norway
In the Digital Privacy World, Norway completed a national data protection impact assessment (DPIA), greenlighting the use of Google's educational workplace and chromeos in schools. This joint venture between google cloud and the Norwegian association of local and regional authorities (KS) is a prime example of public sector efficiency. By creating a community-driven DPIA, KS eliminated the need for every municipality to implement their complex needs, to highlight how Google's tools meet the requirements of a strong GDR and to ensure that local resources are focused on new influences in receiving treatment.
By prioritizing trust and cooperation with Google, Norway has secured a safe, innovative learning environment for students while saving administrators valuable time and resources.
