100 things we announced at Google I/O 2026

AI inbox

68. Earlier this year, we introduced AI Inbox as a new view in Gmail that intelligently reveals what's most important. It helps you prioritize your activities and provides you with important updates. It's currently available to Google AI Ultra subscribers, and we're starting to roll it out to all Google AI Plus and Pro subscribers in the US.

69. AI inbox now generates personalized draft responses based on content knowledge for you to review and respond in seconds.

70. From now on, in the AI Inbox, if a task needs to update a Google Docs, Sheet or Slide, the appropriate link appears next to what to do.

71. We've announced more ways to streamline your task management in AI Inbox. Keep your view uncluttered by marking individual tasks as done, discarding unhelpful suggestions or marking all emails on a given topic as read with one click.

72. Starting this summer, Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers will be able to talk to your inbox via Gmail Live — asking specific questions without digging through threads.

Google Pis

73. Introducing Google Pics, our new photo creation and editing tool, built on our latest Nano Banana model, that helps you create anything – from party flyers to infographics, with the creative controls you want. Whether you're creating a design with a blank canvas or editing an existing image, Pics takes the hassle out of producing complex images. The new tool includes features including object classification (so you can select and edit specific elements with precision), text editing and translation, and integration with Workspace.

74. Google Pics is launching today to a limited group of trusted testers. This summer, it will be rolled out globally to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and in preview to Google Workspace business customers.

Documents Live and Talk to Last

75. Docs Live is a new feature that allows you to create documents and edit them with your voice. Just speak, and Docs Live handles the hard work – organizing your thoughts, editing your document, and, with your permission, pulling relevant information from your Gmail, Drive, Chat and the web. Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers will be able to talk to documents starting this summer.

76. You'll soon be able to “get out of your mind” with Keep. Keep not only understands your ramblings, it will start working in the background, turning your stream of thoughts into organized notes and lists at the speed of your voice. The feature is rolling out this summer to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and is previewing for Google Workspace business customers.

Google Flow

77. At last year's I/O stage, we introduced Google Flow. Since then we have expanded Flow into an AI creative studio, with new capabilities in video and photography and editing, and launched in over 140 countries around the world. Gemini Omni Flash is now available on Google Flow for Google AI subscribers worldwide.

78. For creators using Google Flow, Gemini Omni Flash lets you combine real-world inspiration with generated content and iterate through conversation. Gemini Omni Flash also improves character consistency, meaning identity and voice are maintained across scenes.

79. Also introducing Google Flow Agent. Until today, Flow can only execute one command at a time. Now, your agent can take multi-step tasks. Your agent in Google Flow is an intelligent partner that can plan and think about complex tasks for you, under your control.

80. Built on Gemini models, Google Flow Agent brings expertise and deep understanding of your project to help with early brainstorming, creation and planning. For example, an agent can be a sounding board for dialogue between characters in a particular scene, or make plot recommendations. If you're deep into a project, your agent can help create multiple variations at once to give you more options, even batch editing, so your tweaks can be seen across all your assets. Once you have your assets, your agent can organize them into groups, and can even rename them accurately. Google Flow Agent is now available to all Google Flow users worldwide.

81. We're also introducing Google Flow Tools. Now you can code any creative tool imaginable, right in Google Flow, custom-built for your unique creative process – like designing video effects, hand-drawn animations, or overlay text.

82. You can use natural language to create bespoke tools and workflows in Google Flow. Whether you're looking for a specific photo editor, video editor or custom widgets, now you can easily develop them, no coding experience required. And if you create something you think others might like, you can easily share your tool with other Flow users, who can remix it into their own. All Google Flow users worldwide are able to use existing Tools, while Google AI subscribers can also create and remix them.

Google Flow Music, Pomelli and Stitch

83. With Google Flow Music, you can also use Gemini Omni to work interactively with an agent to direct shared music videos. New enhancement capabilities allow you to edit specific parts of your song with increasing granularity. For example, you can change part of the lyrics to another language, change the genre, adjust the instruments or tune almost anything else you can think of.

84. Pomelli adds new ways to create brand content and design websites.

85. With real-time design and guidance, designing with Stitch is now a natural and intuitive collaboration. Now you can describe what you want in text, or say it out loud, and Stitch works alongside you to build and reflow your ideas. You can also import existing codebase and design files, ensuring that the built-in brand.
