We are launching the Google DeepMind Accelerator program in Asia Pacific to tackle environmental risks.

The Asia-Pacific region is a global engine of economic growth, but it is also highly vulnerable to climate change. Although green technology is booming, a recent report shows that it is not growing fast enough to keep up with growing environmental risks.

To help innovators tackle these environmental challenges, we are launching the first Google DeepMind Accelerator program in APAC focused on “AI for the Planet.”

This three-month program is designed for startups, research groups and non-profit organizations across the region to use the frontier of AI to solve problems in the environment, climate, agriculture, energy and more. Selected organizations will receive expert advice, personalized support and help integrating AI models and AI science from Google AI experts into their projects or products.

If you work with weather solutions, we want to help you scale your business. The program begins with an in-person bootcamp in Singapore, and you can learn more and register your interest today.
