The search for a “chaos flower garden” – that is, a garden with a random spread of flowers, herbs and vegetables – began in 2025 and expanded again this year. Search interest in “how to start a chaos garden” increased 140% this spring and interest in “chaos garden seeds” doubled.
People are also looking to expand smaller spaces. Searches for “small garden” peaked in 2026 and “table garden” recently reached a 15-year high.
