We're expanding our content visualization tools to help you easily visualize AI-generated content. Now you can check if a video was edited or created with Google AI directly from the Gemini app.
Just simply upload a video and ask something like, “Was this made using Google AI?” Gemini will scan the invisible SynthID watermark on both audio and visual tracks and use its logic to return feedback that gives you context and specifies which segments contain material generated using Google AI. For example, it might say: “SynthID detected in audio between 10-20 seconds. No SynthID detected on screen.”
Uploaded files can be 100 MB and 90 seconds long.
Both photo and video verification are now available in all languages and countries supported by the Gemini app.
