Member of the Google Quantum Ai, Alum wins Nobel Prize

Editor's note: Today, Goggle Michel Devoret and Google Alumnus John Martisis was given Nobel Prize in Physics, joining 2024 recipients Demis Hassabis, John Jumper including Geoff vinton. The company now celebrates the 5th of Nobel, including three prizes over the past two years.
This morning, Michel Devoret, currently on Google as a headquarters of the Quantum Hardware in the Quantum Ai, has been awarded Nobel, 2025 prize in Physics. The prize is his job in the Macroscopic Quantum results that has provided quet-based quet-based foundation QUET-based quitum computer computer. Michel associates with Kumu and John Martinis, former leader of Google Quantum Ai, Niversity Clarke of the University of California, Berkeley.
Our Quantum Ai group is amazingly proud to see Michel and John see their pioneer work, and it is another happy time on Google. They joined the group separated by the gooners and alumni winning reen
Quantum Mechanics on a Macroscopic scale
This award is celebrating a series of good exams made in the 1980s that had an impact on Physics and technology. Michel, John Martinis and John Clarke showed a wonderful idea: Unusual, Penomen-Penomena Rules – can be revealed and managed and managed in the Macroscopic electric cycle. They have created a very large volcanic cycle (ie, a cyclist without electrical resistance) with a special feature known as Josephson's meeting, which can be used to create and cheat these quenomena things.
SupercondutCting Computing
For the Goity Ai's party, the Nobel's award is not a historical science, it is a celebration of our current work in superconduct computing. Josephsson's trees formed the foundation of today's QUATUM Superconducting (Qubits), including those doing Google Quantum Ai. Michel and John did the role of our progress so far, including the success of the Willow Quantum in the last year, and our 2019 historic is indicating that the quantum computer can complete the benchchmark computer. It is also guided by our way forward, as we improve in our traffic towards and improve our Puantum Construction Work of the Complete Credit Problem.
The award is a deep generation in the work of receiving them, and in the power of a basic research. Decades later, their adoption continues to encourage us to build the next computer season.
