Honorable leaders, everyone: I'm glad to be here with all of you today.
President Macron, Thank you for the invitation and to gather a respected team here.
AI is once in the whole life. And conversations like this, which focuses on cooperation and concrete, will improve this job forward.
Since today's times, I want to share certain examples of why I hope to be greatly hope about AI and its apps – and the opportunity should benefit everyone, everywhere.
Developing technology living things is mine.
I grew up in Chennai, India. Each new technology took a while to get to our door. That includes the rotating phone. We had five wait list. And when finally, the phone changed our lives.
Before I need to take a four-hour cycle to get the effectiveness of the blood test. And sometimes I was traveling all the way to the hospital and said, “No, it's wrong. Return tomorrow.” Now, we had to take the phone.
I saw a technology of good influence can be that it improved. It put me in a course that would bring me to the US, and finally be a growing start called Google.
I couldn't think at that moment that one day I would have three Google Board colleagues and everything because of unity of technology: Ai.
We are in the early days, yet I believe that AI will be the most important thing for our lifetimes.
Greater than a personal computer change, or mobile. And it will do more to achieving democracy in knowledge than the Internet.
In the 18 months, the cost of processing one token – or construction blocks are used to process the information – we have dropped 97% of the engineers. So used to call four dollars in a million tokens now cost only 13 cents, and I expect this method to continue going on.
The result: the intelligence is mostly available and available more than before.
Therefore, this moment has symptoms of a platform change. But what makes it so difficult? Few items:
As AI integration comes to feel accurate and person – they put us in the center of the experience. Technology begins to feel as an expansion of evolution, adding people's energy, expertise in technology and experience, and demolitions such as language and availability.
Like the common technology of purpose, AI works on all most of the various people's efforts and all parts of the economy – every company, all categories will use this technology in their ways, including the public sector.
As the worldwide development will improve, the opportunity and economic growth of the global economic, learning, intelligence, and production that will build the future in fascinating ways.
The opportunity with AI is big as it gets. And it will be in people in South Africa to make sure as many people as possible to benefit.
