How to create a graph Graphraph Vialzations in Microsoft Powerbi

Microsoft Powerbi is one of the most popular Business Intelligence, and while you have all the features you need to create a powerful reporting of the participants throughout the business, creates advanced data recognition is a major challenge.
This article will travel in a way that will notify a great network graph of Microsoft Powerbi to enable a powerful study of linking to links such as networks. Financial transactions, and much more.
But before we can do that, let's look at other instant networks of network graphs.
The network graphs
The network graph data, referred to as “graph data” data is formatted in Node and edge format. The nodes representing alcoholic and edges represent the relationship between places.
Let us take a simple example of online communication network, which can be represented in the graph format.
NODs refer to profiles, while edges refer to the next situation.
Simple network of three profiles that can end up looking like this:

When we see networks graphs, we can embark on additional information about nodes and edges of different ways, such as non-restricted to:
- Node size
- Size on the edge
- Node color
- Color on the edge
- Labels
Edit network data
So now as you know the building blocks of the network graph, plan and how to change your data?
Graph data everywhere
While you may be thinking, “We have data-related data only when I am”, which often doesn't have. In fact, many related datasets can be seen as a network graph.
Let us take a simple sales table as a model with columns of product name, customer name, and value.

We can represent this network table as a network graph with the form of a product as a node type “product”, the customer name “as each line” purchased “.
Displayed as a network graph, this may look something like this:

Graph data formats
There are a few ways in which this is organized, such as but not limited to:
- Node & Edge (usually in the .csv format)
- Graph Details (such as Neo4J)
- Graph files (such as graphml or gexf)
But in this article, we will use the integrated Node list and the edge to one tabular data because of the requirements of making network graphs within the Microsoft Powerbi.
Map Your Data
You will need to put your data into the next tabern format for each request for the boundary:
- Node Source (required) -> This is a unique identifier for the first power point (for example, customer ID)
- Target Node (Required) -> This is a unique identifier for the end end (for example, product ID)
- Source Color -> This is the style of the source area (for example, customer type)
- Target color -> is a title-class phase (for example, a product category)
- Link Color -> This limit is a sectional section (for example, the sales station)

Building a Graph Graph Visualization
Now that we have our data on paper, we can create a graph Graphraph Visualization.
While the Microsoft has not installed the visual network in the default Powerbi, we can reach a visible destination visual download of the third group.

With this article, we will use “Astra”, which allows you to create a large network graphs with many options to perform customization options.

If you are already installing, it will be your visual library.

Drag the visual on your Canvas, select it, and notice the required rates (cheating previous). The visual is also available for passing options x and y In connection with customized labels, however we cannot use those ways in this article.

The only values are required “Source Node” and “Node target” so let's start there. Drag columns you see with those places from the data window.

You will notice graphs visible and our edges, however, doesn't look so big. We will need to change other imitation settings.

To change the simulation settings, open the formatting window, and then increase both distance of linking and retaliation. I have chosen to set configuration at 0.3, and I am linking 15th grade.

You can now see that we receive the best shape of our information.

Let us now consider some additional information on the graph, by changing the color of Node according to the phases of Node. Drag the fields represented above the color color and target color.

Now you will see different colored nodes and have a legend in seeing.

Let's do Background formatting and node colors in the formatting window.

Congratulations! Created Graph Graph Graph Visualization with Powerbi with Dynamic and De Coloring.
We include more information on graph, for example:
- Open Node weight to make nodes with many large edges in size
- Adding a Link Category to the Links
- Adding different labels to areas
But they could not be made there.
As long as we have the recognition, participants should use to make more informed decisions.
Contacting a network graph
There is a quick price in the Static network graph, as being able to see how to see how the data is connected to relationships.
However, there are additional factors that we can use to make a witness.
First, we can work with mythology by choosing the stages to highlight the graph. For example, quickly finding widgets on the graph:

We may also select individual locations in graph by clicking them.
In another way, you can change “Select nearest Node” on Node Buildings to select not just a node connected, but all contacts are connected right to that edge.
For example, selecting “Widget A” via “Select the surrounding facilities” to show all customers who have purchased the widget:

But choosing the combination of components You have saved in the eyes of your eyes, passing that sorting of your Powerbi report.
This means that we can add some charts to provide some user selection.
For example, add a price chart purchased by customer:

And we can do it back by filtering data to Visual Network. This can be done in many ways, such as:
- Slicers
- To select pieces of other charts, such as a slice of donut chart
- Pack of sorting
Let's use a graph cut slider in customer type:

BICHINGS BICUCTIC
While Graph Special Network in this article is very simple for display purposes, you can create a very sophisticated report of BIs in participants.
Astra Powerbi View used in this article can measure hundreds of thousands of edges, and paired with the remaining material and slides that can be allowed to allow the most advanced Analytics.

The network graphs surround us, even hiding in your related datasets. While the Great Network Graphing Outwork Out there, network graphs allow you to bring this analalybic analysis tool to the factors, and to create advanced reports by adding context to additional filters and additional charts.
