AI (R) Evolution, Looking From 2024 to the Near Future | by LucianoSphere (Luciano Abriata, PhD) | January, 2025

Witnessing rapid innovation, fierce competition, and tools to transform life, work, and human development

After half a decade of technological development including the creation of a transformer for AI systems and several other achievements in computer science, the last 3-4 years have been working madly on the creation of certain systems that have led to the software (based on AI) that we have made. I didn't just dream 10–20 years ago. We are mainly talking about AI models that use powerful processing and analysis of documents, computer code, images, sound, videos, and even molecules, which have recently been integrated into multimodal systems.
By 2024 many of these tools have just dawned, starting to shape the near future and impacting not only our daily lives but also businesses and markets. We can now reliably use LLMs to summarize texts, look up pieces of information, or solve complex or complex problems; we can develop software writing, documentation, data analysis and software implementation with highly experienced LLMs and behave like professionals available 24/7. For those of you out there who struggle with drawing and designing, we can now do a lot with AI-based graphic generators and editors. In science…
