Major Language Models or LLMs it's what we call mathematical models that power apps like ChatGPT.

They are called this, because they are usually trained by using big (therefore Great) text values (therefore language), and we usually communicate with them through text, which is one of the main vehicles to represent language.

In addition to this we have a general definition model in science, which is imagination a representation of an event, system or process from the real world.

So, in fact, from the name we can already have a precise understanding of what they are: abbreviations of the language that we as humans, use every day, made up of a large amount of text.
