Every month, Google Lens is used for more than 20 billion searchs. And we now introduce two updates to the lens that will make it very easy to search, in all apps and devices.
First, if you have an iPhone, you will find the new LENS option that allows you to select and search your screen within Chrome or Google app, to highlight or tap. Whether you read an article, shopping product or watching the video, you can use this feature to quickly make a visible search while browsing, without taking a new tab.
To get started with Chrome, open the three dot menu and select “Screen search via Google Lens.” In the coming months, you will also see a new lens icon in the address bar to achieve the same feature, such as the Chrome Desktop experience in the last summer.
