Building a nation of AI trailblazers

Breaking down barriers

The real challenge is to transform everyday testing into the level of AI learning that unlocks career advancement and, in turn, national economic growth.

So, how do we help the other 85% unlock these benefits? The obstacles that hold people back are surprisingly easy to overcome, with collective focus. In particular, it is a behavior, mind or organization:

  • Behavior – “One-to-do” behavior: Most of the common users have not gotten into the habit of using AI effectively. Many still don't know how to replicate information, match the right tool for the job, or aren't sure how to get started with multi-modal capabilities (text, visual, and audio input and output) and agent workflow (where AI automatically schedules and performs multi-step tasks).
  • Logic – The traditional “Search box” logic: Millions of users naturally apply their normal search habits to AI tools, instead of treating them as creative partners. Despite the highly interactive nature of AI, only 37% of previous users have asked AI to help them write better content for more effective results.
  • Organization – “Informed Consent” Gap: Many employees expect clear consent to use AI. Only one-third of AI users have clear professional guidance to help them use AI with confidence, and less than half know who to ask about appropriate use.
