Canvas in AI mode is now available to everyone in the US in English, providing a dedicated, flexible space to organize your plans and projects over time. And Canvas is more capable than ever, with new support for creative writing and coding tasks. Now, you can write documents or create custom, interactive tools right within Search.
Looking for inspiration? Another idea we liked from early testers was a dashboard to visualize and track scholarship information, including all the different requirements, deadlines and dollar amounts.
To create your own tool or dashboard, select the new Canvas option from the Tools menu (+) in AI Mode and define what you want to create. You'll find a working example in the Canvas side panel that includes new information from the web and Google's Knowledge Graph. From there, you can test the functionality, modify to view the source code and refine the dialog until it does what you need.
