Kelli Anderson Artist Woography Pop-Up Character Biography – Marginalian

It is amazing that we invented language, this container of thought that we think about where it is contained, that we raised it to our lips to throw the world and tell us to live with this particular sense. But we passed it from our lips to our hands and gave it, so we can hear with our eyes and see our minds, see sounds and sounds and intentions from shapes.
We take it for granted now, this miracle of the descent of the dust uses all the limits of our lives, and we continue to move small concrete objects by transmitting our big ideas and arrows. We forget that the small technology of thinking, smaller than a large living body, but nevertheless it tells a richer story of who we are than any work of art, it touches more than what makes us a person recorded on the ground. Our books treat the history of our species and our world, their structure formed by a dialogue between the creativity of our imagination and the constraints of our chemical geometry of human chemistry first brushes.
Kelli Anderson, Maker of Material Magic, delivers that enthralling history The Alphabet in Motion: How Alphabets Find Out – A great two-volume wonder, many years and many plustotypes in the making, full of paper plates and an interesting acoblion showing the biography of each character.

Using a kaleidoscope of disciplines, from ART and Design to Anthropology and History, Kelli shines a bright light on how we move from the pixel, drawing everything from Plato's Trays In 1882 books on the operation of the Jacquard Loom to (which evoked the idea of the first computer code in the fertile imagination of ada lealelace and its hidden history of women working under the digital environment of the integration of the digital universe.
In one of the beautiful essays that accompany each letter, he writes:
In many cultures over time, the Triantian form represents power and strength. This organization may have originated in the physical world. The triangle is the most stable load bearing position because it distributes the Force and tension on either side of its broad base. According to physics, most of the simple machines use the power of the morphological triangle of power: the wedge, the inclined plane, and the lever all work because of their triangular forms.
Long before physics provided a cogent explanation, human civilizations had recognized and used the power of the triangle for their construction and simple machines. Additionally, for centuries in the Hellenic world, A was thought to have cursing and healing powers, and often appeared in the fields of religion and medicine. A well-connected book is an allegorical mystery about the visible power of the built world. (There is a syncretism between “spell” and “spell.”)
Considering that every book has a long history, “follows the A-list line:
IA We see today the result of the forgiveness of various cultures in this situation to see the concepts of local areas.
The Triantianle form originates in Egypt around 3100 BCE as a pictogram of an inverted eagle, a bird central to ancient Egyptian religion.
Reasonable Fetonicists turn eagles into alas (From the Hebrew word for “ox”). Now to go around, the bovine appears in profile with its horns pointing to the right, its nose to the left. A vertical line defines the back of the bull's head, which presents a horizontal crossbar.
One of the biggest blind spots of modern cultural continuity is the continuity of ideas – we look back and spread what appears as a way of success, failing to see that everything is built on what came before. Kelly writes:
The word “text” comes from the Latin verb a taxiwhich means “to weave” (hence the origin of expressions such as “to spin a yarn”). Computers, which are used for the first time for typesetting and have a direct technical interest in weaving, seem to cover well the two meanings of Texere. Weaving binary technology: its vertical warp and horizontal water (and how those two parts, together, give a visible / invisible thread) is the ruler of how the 1s and 0s of today's computers work. The Woven Code memory served as a rudimentary computer navigation system onboard the Apollo 11 Mission.

On the edge of the playing field the concept paper is a rigorous study of the history of technology and the evolution of writing. What emerges is so much more: part pop-up exploration, part wenderclopedia, part werderkameder with twenty-six amazing wonders, working in the shadow of their time and place, with a modern world empire.

The alphabet is progressivea joy that has its own complete creativity that is not followed on the digital screen, lives in that unique place where imagination and light meet to become a portal of wonder – the gift of life.
