Cisco released the Cisco Times Series Model: Their first open-source model based on a decoder-only architecture

Cisco and Splunk have launched Cisco Real Time Modela Univariate zero Shot Measurement Time Foundation designed for visualization and safety metrics. It's released as an open weight test on the web interface under the Apache 2.0 license, and aims to predict workloads without any particular fine tuning. The model crosses Timesbm 2.0 times with a portivelit multivelive decisect that includes coarse and fine history in one content window.

WHY BE CAREFUL TO SEEKING THE TRUTH?

Productivity metrics are not signals on a simple scale. Weekly patterns, long-term growth and saturation are only seen in cross-term decisions. Saturication events, Spikes Traic Spikes and Dynamics events appear in 1 minute or 5 minute adjustments. COMTIME Semion Seriction Foundation models work at a single resolution with windows between 512 and 4096, while Timesfm 2.5 extends this to 16384 points. This 1 minute data still covers most for several weeks and often less.

This is a problem in view of the fact that data platforms tend to store old data only in aggregated form. Good samples are expired and only live as 1 hour rollips. The Cisco Time Series model is designed for this last pattern. Treats coarse history as a first-class input to improve predictive accuracy. The architecture works directly in the context of mass instead of pretending that all inputs live on a single grid.

MultireSture installation installation and forecasting purpose

Formally, the model consumes two states, (xcxef). Coarse context (x_c) and fine context (x_f) each have a length of up to 512. Space (xc) is arranged in 60 intervals for (xef). A standard view setup uses 512 hours of 1 hour aggregates and 512 minutes of 1 values. Both series are terminated at the same cutting point. The model predicts an area with 128 points in good resolution, which means a set of values from 0.1 to 0.9.

Structures, core moments with transfer mixes

Internally, the Cisco Time Series time model overrides the timesfm-based decoder stack. Input is normalized, embedded in Notloping chunks, and passed through the remaining embedding block. Transformer Core contains only 50 manual decoders. The last tokens of the block are the chicks back to the top. The research group removes the automatic embedding and instead relies on the patch structure, the multielefulation structure and the new transmission of other structural appeals.

Two additions make the structure more complex. A special token, often referred to as ST in the report, is inserted between token token streams. It resides in the area of succession and sets the boundary between the claims of the state. Dynamic solutions, often called refactoring, can be added to the prototype environment. One embedding vector is used for all matching tokens and one for all positive tokens. Studies on ABLATION IN COOK show that both elements improve quality, especially in long-term content conditions.

The CHECHODE process is also massive. The results of the model mean and quantile the prediction of a good decision. During the long-term decoration, the predicted good points are put into the right context. Aggregates of these predictions update the coarse context. This creates an autoregroute loop where both decisions appear together during prediction.

Training and recipe data

The Cisco Time Series model is trained by continuously taking time series. The final model has 500 million parameters. Training uses Adamw for associations, norms and embeddings, and muon for hidden layers, and cosine learning schedules. The loss includes the measured error with high-level weather with a loss of values over values from 0.1 to 0.9. The team trains 20 ecochs and selects the best test site with a loss of validation.

The dataset is large and organized in observations. The SplipK team reports on a time series of 400 time documents from their genetic annotation hands, collected at a resolution of 1 minute over 13 months and combined in part to 5 resolution of 5 minutes. The research group says that the final Corpus contains more than 300 billion points, 35 percent of minute observations, 29.5 percent of minute elevation, 49.5 percent Chronin.

Benchmark results from asking and testing gifts

The research team is testing the model on two large benches. The first is the visualization of data taken from spunger matrices at 1 minute and 5 minute resolution. The second is a filtered version of the closure, where the datasets are deleted to remove the training information of Leak Times 2.0.

In Visual Details In solving 1 minute with 512 good steps, the time model of Cisco using the 512 core of MultieleClect reduces the error from 0.6265, with the same improvement of the highest error and possible complovection. The same benefits come from the 5 minute solution. In both decisions, the outgoing model is the Chrono

Viewed through a filter-refined peg, the Cisco Time model is similar to the Base Timesfm 2.0 model and competes with Timesfm-2.5, Chronos-2 and Toto. The key claim is not universal recovery but the preservation of standard prediction quality while adding a powerful advantage to longer content windows and task visualization.

Key acquisition

  1. The Cisco Time Series model is a Univariate zero Shot Seimetion Time Foundation model that transmits the Timesfm 2.0 Decoder only Backbone and Multivelity metricecture.
  2. The model eats the context of multireirereflution, with a series of coarse and fine series, each up to 512 steps in length, where it shows good steps to keep well, and predicts good steps to keep good.
  3. The Cisco Time Series model is trained with more than 300b data points, with visual recognition, splunk machine data mixing, gift testing, state visualization and kerthelsythth execution, and has synthetic parameters.
  4. In the virtual monitoring benchmarks with 1 minutes and 5 resolutions, the model reaches a lower error than 2.0 times, Chronos and other benchmarks, while maintaining competitive performance in the General Purpose Gift Benchmark.
